TEKNOFANGHI’S ESG COMMITMENT IN 2025

A concrete path toward truly sustainable growth

At TEKNOFANGHI, sustainability is not a communication exercise, but a structured commitment that guides industrial, organisational and strategic decisions.

With the ESG Commitment 2025, the company has further strengthened its approach to environmental, social and governance responsibility, based on verifiable data, traceable processes and measurable objectives.

Sustainability has always been an integral part of how TEKNOFANGHI designs, manufactures and operates. From equipment design and material selection to the management of relationships with suppliers and partners, every decision is aimed at reducing impacts throughout the entire life cycle of the plants.

We work on a daily basis with operators managing sludge and wastewater in complex contexts – public and private facilities, industrial sites, construction sites and remote areas. This ongoing exchange results in reliable and verifiable solutions, designed to reduce consumption, increase reuse and simplify operational management.

TEKNOFANGHI solutions for sludge dewatering and continuous water and wastewater microfiltration translate ESG objectives into concrete results: reduced energy consumption, optimised chemical dosing, water recovery and reduced cleaning operations. These design choices directly impact the environmental footprint of the plants.

We use durable and recyclable materials, such as stainless steel, and design plug & play systems to reduce the environmental footprint during installation and maintenance, supporting long-term sustainability.

TEKNOFANGHI has recently prepared its first Organisational Carbon Footprint in accordance with UNI EN ISO 14064-1, mapping emissions across the entire value chain, including the use phase of solutions at customer sites.

At the production facility, we use electricity from renewable sources, including on-site photovoltaic self-generation, and adopt processes aimed at reducing water and chemical consumption. The GHG inventory is periodically updated to improve data quality and reliability.

We invest in training, wellbeing and workplace safety through validated procedures, prevention systems and protective equipment. The company has recently obtained the UNI/PdR 125:2022 certification on gender equality, subject to periodic external audits.

We support environmental initiatives of international relevance, including reforestation projects through the Tree Nation platform, also in environmen tally sensitive areas such as the Amazon region.

We operate in accordance with a Code of Ethics, publicly available to all stakeholders and applied throughout the supply chain. The quality management system has been ISO 9001:2015 certified since 2010 and includes supplier selection criteria based on transparency and continuity of relationships.

TEKNOFANGHI’s ESG journey is aligned with the United Nations Sustainable Development Goals most relevant to the sector, including:

  • Goal 6 – Clean Water and Sanitation
  • Goal 9 – Industry, Innovation and Sustainable Infrastructure

  • Goal 12 – Responsible Consumption and Production
