Teknofanghi at FENASAN 2025: Italian Solutions for Sustainable Water and Sludge Management
From October 21 to 23, Teknofanghi took part in FENASAN 2025 at the Expo Center Norte in São Paulo, exhibiting within Stand No. 5 – ILHA ABIMAQ SINDESAN, together with its local partner Forza Z.
One of Latin America’s most important events in the field of water and wastewater treatment, the exhibition gathered operators, engineers, and institutions around key topics such as technological innovation, sustainability, and the United Nations Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs), with an increasing focus on ESG principles.
During the event, Teknofanghi showcased two of its most acclaimed international solutions: Monobelt® and Teknodisk®.
Monobelt® is a belt filter press with an integrated thickener, designed to combine sludge thickening and dewatering in a single, compact unit.
Thanks to a system that integrates a rotating drum with an Archimedean screw for solid/liquid separation and three pressure zones (low, medium, and high), Monobelt® achieves sludge with a dry solid content between 18–30%, depending on the type treated.
The unit handles flow rates from 1 m³/h to 140 m³/h, and its patented endless-belt design ensures up to three times longer durability than conventional systems.
Teknodisk®, on the other hand, is a rotating-disk microfiltration system designed for medium- to large-scale plants.
Based on a continuous gravity filtration process, it removes suspended solids and enables the reuse of filtered water for irrigation or industrial processes.
Equipped with an automatic backwash system, Teknodisk® ensures uninterrupted filtration, simplified maintenance, and low energy consumption.
It is available in AISI 304L stainless steel (or 316L upon request), with filter cloths ranging from 10 to 150 microns, and can be installed in integrated tanks or existing channels.
The partnership with Forza Z remains key to ensuring an effective presence in the Brazilian market.
